Made for a 2023 Milliners Guild exhibition in New York of hats inspired by Rose Bertin, milliner and stylist to Marie Antoinette.
The dyed and pleated organdy meanders around a silk covered base. I folded the blue ribbon along the edge, adding small yellow beads, and the gold and blue bows finish it all off. Pure folly and fun.
