Why Hats?

Hats.  My friend, Linda, always says, everyone needs at least two hats - one to keep you warm and cozy in the colder months, and one to keep you cool and protected from the sun’s harmful rays in the warmer months. Makes sense, right?  So what should those two hats be like?  Casual, dressy, cool, retro chic, sophisticated, on trend, subtle but unique, outlandishly unique, statement making, etc - so many options. And what about that special occasion you’re attending next season? You know a hat would elevate your style like no other accessory could. Well, all those things are why you actually need more than just two hats.

I love making hats, I love wearing hats, and I want you to love wearing hats, too. Unless you’re wearing a beanie or a baseball cap (both of which are totally FINE), wearing a hat will get you noticed. If you are someone who loves to be the center of attention, then you should be wearing a hat all the time! And if you’re someone who prefers to just stay in the background and not draw attention to yourself, you should be wearing a hat, too! I’m more of a behind-the-scenes kind of person, but I love it when a stranger stops me to tell me they love my hat. 

I make hats in a variety of different styles, and I know you can find one that suits you. A lot of my hats are one-of-a-kind, so they’re not always on my website.
